Our Comprehensive Medical Transcription Training Program:
- Follows the Association for Healthcare Documentation Integrity (AHDI), (formerly American Association for Medical Transcription) Model Curriculum for Healthcare Documentation, 5th Edition. Per AHDI, ” The Model Curriculum is the best way for schools to provide quality education and prepare students for roles in clinical documentation.“
- Utilizes Health Professions Institute (HPI), The SUM Program (Systems Unit Method) as the Base for the Curriculum.
- Requires Academic Study Organized by Body System and Medical Specialty, Utilizing Respected Textbooks.
- Provides 46 hours of Healthcare Documentation Practice using the most up-to-date Software, MTClient.
- Covers Beginner, Intermediate, and Advanced Levels of Medical Transcription

INSCRIBE EXTERNSHIP
Upon completion of the three sections (Beginning, Intermediate and Advanced) of the training program, and after passing the program exit exam, the student enters the InScribe Externship. The student/extern is:
- Placed under the direction of Externship Administrator, who assigns a Mentor
- Given access to voice files on beginner, intermediate, and advanced levels for transcription
- Provided accurate, timely feedback by Qualified Instructors and Mentors

Externs who successfully pass a formal evaluation are eligible for work at InScribe, LLC, as Independent Contractors, based on evaluation grade and work availability.
