InScribe was built on a dream. Dani Lynch aspired to enable others to pursue their dreams by offering a company where transcriptionists and technical support personnel could work from home; however, they could also work while travelling or while sitting on a beach! With a PC and internet service, InScribe contractors can work from anywhere. InScribe is a firm believer in the positive impact of telecommuting and remote careers.
Along with the flexibility of a remote career, Dani has developed a company of people who are committed to offering a hand up to those who demonstrate the drive and determination to succeed…what she refers to as “want to.” From InScribe’s start in 2006 with just a handful of MTs, Dani has fostered an attitude of giving back or “paying it forward.” This handful of MTs has grown into more than 400 individuals, all of whom have adopted this helpful attitude. A true desire to assist others is echoed in the blast rooms and emails daily, as the seasoned MTs assist the newer MTs, helping them navigate their way through their first months on the job. Whether it is a system glitch, a temperamental foot pedal, or a difficult dictator, there is someone who has had the same challenge, found a solution, and is happy to pass it on.
Dani was also committed to developing an online university where students could learn transcription from seasoned professionals. Her desire was to instill the philosophy of excellence and “want to” as each student learned top notch transcription skills. Best of all, each student could graduate and then move quickly into production as a contractor with InScribe. To date, InScribe has hired 100% of its university graduates. In keeping with our philosophy of “paying it forward”, InScribe University offers our students the option of completing their transcription course, taking a paid position with InScribe, and then paying for their tuition and fees.
InScribe has a strong sense of community as well. As we help one another in our work, we also find time to contribute socially if desired. Every month, InScribe publishes the InScriber, a newsletter built on contributions from all of our contractors. The InScriber includes topics of interest such as updates and announcements, industry news, photos, birthdays, births and other special events, transcription tips and tricks, fun speech “wrecks” contributed by our voice recognition experts, and “Way-To-Go” awards given in recognition for going above and beyond our normal duties. For American Idol and Survivor fans, we host a game every year to see who can pick the next American idol or survivor.
Dani’s dream of creating a rewarding remote career for transcriptionists, along with a positive and helpful environment is a reality at InScribe. However, what ultimately matters most is our clients. With such a helpful, positive, and motivated group of transcriptionists, it is no surprise that our clients are very satisfied. InScribe’s constant growth is a reflection of our reliable service and happy clients. No longer a dream, InScribe is achieving what matters the most – thriving students, successful transcriptionists, and satisfied clients.

“You guys did a superb job yesterday! I just wanted to let you know that the physicians that were on the list to lose their hospital privileges, have caught their charts up and are now in my good graces! LOL! I really appreciate all you do for us! Have a great day!” [Client]
